Student exchange and short terms study abroad
Exchange programs and short term study abroad usually involve completing one or two semesters of study overseas. Credit from this study may count towards your course back home. The amount of credit transferred for studies completed varies depending on the academic system at your home institution.
Exchange programs are run through a formal agreement between the institutions where your home institution may nominate you for the exchange and you’d receive credit for your overseas study into your degree at home institution, as part of the exchange agreement.
Short term study abroad are normally run without a formal agreement where you may take leave to study at another institution. Responsibility lies with the student to check with home institution on the credits recognition towards your degree.
Eduleader works with the home and partner institution to facilitate the exchange and short term study abroad programs and development of the formal agreement, where required.
